A baby is a miracle from God. Life is the greatest gift one can get or give. There is no gift like the unconditional love that comes from a child. The Lord may bless you with a son or daughter. Then again, God may use you to bless a couple who might not be able to have a child on their own. There are many who pray without ceasing for a child to make their family complete. You could be the answer to their prayer.
It is a myth to say you are “giving your baby up” for adoption. What you are doing is giving your child the best life you can by ensuring he or she thrives in a loving home. To choose life when you know you can’t raise your child on your own is the most selfless choice one can ever make. The Father gave His Son to us so we might have eternal life. We ought to keep this in mind all year round, but it is especially notable at Christmas as we celebrate the miracle from God in the baby Jesus.
